On 27 August 2024, COMO Orchard, the latest lifestyle destination by the COMO Group, hosted a celebration of Korea’s influence on fashion, cuisine, and music. The event, named Special K at COMO Orchard, was graced by K-Pop superstar Rain and brought together an exclusive guest list of industry insiders and VIPs.

The celebration commenced at CLUB21, where attendees were treated to a showcase of the latest Autumn/Winter collections from Korea’s emerging fashion designers. The runway featured pieces by Andersson Bell, JiyongKim, Juntae Kim, and Open YY, each presenting a distinct vision of contemporary Korean style. Couturic-inspired wunderkind designer Bonbom Jo was also in attendance to debut his label, Bonbom, at CLUB21 in Singapore.

The true showstopper was none other than Rain himself who took to the runway with his signature charisma. Rain, a multi-hyphenate artist renowned for his impact on the global music and fashion scenes, closed the show in Bonbom, bringing peak excitement to the evening.

Notable attendees from the music industry included rapper Shigga Shay, singer Shye, radio deejays Yasminne Cheng and Kimberly Wang, as well as DJs Farah Farz and Inquisitive.

COMO Orchard reached a fever pitch as the party continued on Level 3 at COTE Singapore, the first Asian outpost of the Michelin-starred Korean steakhouse from New York and Miami – where special guest Rain enjoyed supper after he mingled with fans.

Guests savoured artisanal cocktails crafted by guest bartender Minwoo Lee at COTE’s Millim bar, danced to immersive beats by DJ Nicolette, and continued to soak in the vibrant energy of COMO Orchard.

COMO Metropolitan Singapore, located within COMO Orchard, was the residence for Rain during his visit. The evening before the event, the Korean icon indulged in the tranquil ambience of the rooftop pool, enjoying sweeping views of the city skyline—an idyllic prelude to an evening filled with creativity and celebration.
