COMO The Treasury Celebrates 10 Years with a Month of Experiences

A landmark year for our multi award-winning Perth property brings together culinary talent from Singapore, exclusive performances and curated experiences that reflect a decade of design-led hospitality.

COMO The Treasury will mark a decade of hospitality this October with a month-long celebration that brings together the culinary, cultural and artistic forces that have shaped its evolution.

Situated within Perth’s State Buildings—a landmark restoration of 19th-century heritage architecture—the hotel opened in 2015 under the vision of the late Kerry Hill, whose quiet, modernist sensibility remains intrinsic to the property’s identity. Over the years, COMO The Treasury has become a cornerstone of Perth’s cultural revival, winning accolades for its timeless design, exceptional service, and thoughtful approach to luxury.

As part of its 10th anniversary, COMO The Treasury will collaborate with COMO Orchard and COMO Dempsey in Singapore, two trailblazing lifestyle destinations, to bring a world-class lineup of events to Perth.

From 8 October, the Cape Arid Rooms will host an afternoon tea experience by the team behind Cedric Grolet at COMO Orchard. Known for their artistry and visually arresting creations, the team will bring their signature interpretation of French pâtisserie to Perth for the first time.

The team behind Torno Subito, the vibrant Italian restaurant at COMO Dempsey in Singapore, will bring a taste of the Italian Riviera to POST, COMO The Treasury’s city osteria.  The brainchild of Massimo Bottura, the world-renowned chef behind the three-Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana in Modena, this exclusive dining experience uniting the creative flair of Torno Subito and the seasonal elegance of POST will launch on 21 October.

Another culinary high point arrives on 28 and 29 October, as Chef Paul Wilson of Wildflower welcomes Malcolm Lee of Singapore’s one-Michelin-starred Pangium for a two-day, four-hands dining series. This unique collaboration brings together two visionary chefs and their distinct culinary philosophies, celebrating the bold, refined flavours of Straits cuisine alongside the vibrant, seasonal bounty of native Australian ingredients.

The anniversary month also engages with Perth’s creative and performing arts communities. On 9 October, the Australian Chamber Orchestra will perform a one-night-only concert in the Postal Hall, led by Artistic Director Richard Tognetti and featuring the ACO string quartet. Coinciding with the ACO’s 50th anniversary, the event will combine live performance with an intimate conversation on music and meaning.

On the same evening as the ACO performance, wine connoisseurs will gather for a dinner commemorating the 10th vintage of Vasse Felix’s flagship Tom Cullity, a Margaret River icon. Further wine tastings will celebrate the excellence of Western Australia’s vineyards.

Rounding out the calendar are moments designed for both spirited celebration and quiet appreciation: from a Champagne brunch on Global Champagne Day in the newly opened State Cellars Wine Room, visits to celebrated artist Philippa Nikulinsky’s home studio, live music performances in the Postal Hall, a Beer Corner degustation, and a wellness workshop with Sodashi skincare founder Megan Larsen.

The festivities culminate in a final party at Lola Underground, a vibrant close to the anniversary celebrations.

Tickets for COMO The Treasury’s 10th anniversary events will be on sale from mid-July. For room reservations, book here.
