Chef Massimo Bottura, the creative mastermind behind the three Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana in Modena brings his first One Michelin Star-awarded restaurant to Asia.
From internationally acclaimed chef Massimo Bottura, Italian restaurant concept Torno Subito pays homage to 1960s Italy, an era that witnessed the Golden Age of Italian cinema and summers by the Adriatic Riviera.
A collaboration with the COMO Group, Torno Subito’s Asian debut marks a new addition to the COMO Dempsey enclave. A colloquial Italian saying meaning I’ll be right back, Torno Subito is housed in a former British army barrack. Designed by award-winning Italian designer Paola Navone of OTTO Studio, the restaurant delivers vibrant expressions reminiscent of idyllic holidays by the seaside.
At the heart of the 130-seat restaurant is a ‘beach bar’. This anchors the convivial interior with a larger-than-life reimagined seaside scene. Lamps crafted from Campari soda bottles crown the 10-seat intimate bar. An aged Negroni-filled Campari barrel on the counter completes the space.
At the helm of the kitchen is Executive Chef Alessio Pirozzi, who blends authentic fare with creative techniques to craft Torno Subito’s lively and spirited menu. Our dishes showcase the whimsical and innovative use of ingredients that celebrate the specialties of the Emilia-Romagna region – from balsamic vinegar of Modena, and cured meats to fresh pasta -, where Bottura comes from.
Torno Subito welcomes diners to immerse themselves in a whimsical culinary journey that honours tradition with creative riffs on Italian flavours.
